What SnagAction stores.
This notice explains the data handled when an inspector uses a private workspace, keeps evidence and returns for reinspection.
Who operates SnagAction
Pepaco Systems LLC operates SnagAction and is responsible for the account, contact, security and product-use information described in this notice. Customers remain responsible for having authority and an appropriate legal basis to upload project records, photographs and any personal information contained in them.

When you sign in, SnagAction receives a stable user identifier, email address and, when available, your display name. It stores the projects, units, inspection details, observations, assignments, report revisions and internal comments you create.
Photographs and offline copies
Uploaded original and completion photographs are stored privately under the signed-in account. When a connection is interrupted, a temporary copy may remain in this browser’s local database until it synchronises. You can remove a project, or delete all account data from the account page.
AI-assisted wording
If AI drafting is activated, only the selected snag’s typed observation, location and category are sent to prepare editable report wording. Photographs, client names, contractor names, severity and the wider project are not sent by that action. The generated wording remains editable and must be reviewed by the inspector.
Product measurement and abuse prevention
SnagAction records limited first-party events such as page views, sample downloads, plan reservations, projects created and reports issued. A random browser identifier helps count repeat visits. For page views, we also record the country code supplied by our hosting provider, not a precise location. The public contact form uses a short-lived human-check record and a one-way request fingerprint to prevent automated spam and limit repeated submissions. These controls are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Country and conversion reporting
Our private owner dashboard groups visits by approximate country, general device type, traffic-source category and landing page. A session-level browser record remembers the source and landing page during your visit. We also record new signups and confirmed live payments, including their amount, currency and billing country, to understand product use. The analytics records do not store raw IP addresses, full referrer URLs or payment-card details. Network and billing countries may differ. Visitor counts are estimates and are not used to identify you across unrelated websites.
Optional Google Ads measurement
Only when you allow advertising measurement, we load Google’s advertising tag. Google may use advertising cookies and receives a confirmed purchase’s amount, currency and a hashed order reference to measure ad performance and avoid duplicate conversions. Confirmed Solo trial starts are measured separately with a hashed reference and no revenue value; they are not purchases. Our private dashboard also records verified trial starts separately from live payments. We do not send your name, email, payment-card details or inspection content through this tag, and ad personalisation is disabled. Google also processes technical connection information when its tag loads. You can decline or change your choice using “Cookie choices” at the bottom of the screen. Declining does not affect your access to SnagAction. Withdrawing consent stops future tag loading; cookies previously set may remain until you clear them in your browser. See Google’s privacy policy.
Control and requests
Account deletion removes the account’s projects, report revisions, uploaded photographs, reservations and account-linked product events. A browser may still hold an offline copy until its local storage is cleared; the account page requests that cleanup after deletion. For access, correction or privacy questions, use the request form.
